The Commission is reviewing the qualifications of the following judges of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia:

• Judge Peter Krauthamer (Ret.) has requested a recommendation for an initial appointment as a Senior Judge to the District of Columbia Superior Court.
   
• Judge Vanessa Ruiz has requested reappointment as a Senior Judge to the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, upon expiration of her current term on July 2, 2024.

The Commission invites members of the Bar, litigants, former jurors, interested organizations and members of the public to submit comments or any other information bearing on the performance and qualifications of Judges Krauthamer and Ruiz to continue their judicial service.
