Associate Judge Reappointment

The Commission is reviewing the qualifications of the following Associate Judges of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia for reappointment to a fifteen (15) year term:

• Hon. Jennifer A. Di Toro has declared her candidacy for reappointment as an Associate Judge to the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, upon expiration of her current term on August 2, 2026.
• Hon. Yvonne M. Williams has declared her candidacy for reappointment as an Associate Judge to the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, upon expiration of her current term on August 2, 2026.

Senior Judge Initial Appointment

The Commission is reviewing the qualifications of the following Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia for initial appointment to a four (4) year term:

• Hon. Kimberley S. Knowles has requested a recommendation for an initial appointment as a Senior Judge to the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, due to her retirement on January 24, 2026.

Public Comment Period

The Commission invites members of the Bar, litigants, former jurors, interested organizations, and members of the public to submit comments or any other information bearing on the performance and qualifications of each of the above-mentioned judges to continue their respective judicial service.

The Comment deadline for all three (3) judges is February 9, 2026. If the comments or information pertain to a specific case, the Commission requests that the case be identified by its caption and that any relevant hearing dates or pleadings be included.
