Determination for the Honorable Judith E. Retchin

The Commission issued this decision following an investigation concerning Judge Retchin's actions while presiding over the case of US v. Jonathan Magbie. The Commission determined that Judge Retchin's sentencing decision was made without bias, venal motive, maliciousness or wanton disregard, and it concluded that none of Judge Retchin's conduct associated with the sentencing decision violated the Code of Judicial Conduct.
