The District of Columbia Commission on Judicial Disabilities and Tenure (the Commission) announces that it has formally amended Rule 2037.2 to require additional disclosure by judges who request a recommendation from the Commission for an initial appointment or reappointment as a senior judge. The amended Rule was effective on August 2, 2024, immediately upon publication in the DC Register.
Other amended Rules adopted by the Commission in 2024 are:

- Rules 2030-2036 (Evaluation of Associate Judge Candidates for Reappointment)
- Rules 2037-2043 (Evaluation of Judges Requesting Recommendation for Initial Appointment or Reappointment as Senior Judges)
